This weeks “Photo of the Week” comes from Dave Beckerman:
Monday January 16 1995. Cloudy with rain. Yes, it was always a violent world with violent headlines. Especially in New York City.
This weeks “Postcard of the Week” is a vintage “Chrome” postcard from circa mid 1960’s. The Kancamagus Highway or “Kanc” as it is affectionately know is 32 mile exceptionally beautiful road the connects Lincoln, NH to North Conway, NH. It offers spectacular views of the White Mountain National Forest. I’ve traveled this scenic byway many times and it always seems to thrill!
This weeks “Photo of the Week” comes from Katie Vaz a local artist from Candor, NY. Katie traveled to the northern Norway island of Kvaløya near the city of Tromsø to relax at Yggdrasiltunet a farmstead bed and breakfast. Please take a moment to visit Katie’s website either by clicking on her name or by following this link. http://www.katievaz.com
This weeks “Photo of the Week” comes from Chad Smith of the Adirondack Canoe Company in Minerva, NY. On January 1st 2016 Chad and his wife Emily paddle into the New Year along Minerva Stream. Their canoe is a light weight 16′ long 32″ wide kevlar tandem canoe called the “Tamarac”.
This weeks “Photo of the Week” comes from Charles Freericks of Santa Monica, California.
