This weeks “Photo of the Week” comes from Dave Beckerman:

Monday January 16 1995. Cloudy with rain. Yes, it was always a violent world with violent headlines. Especially in New York City.

Vintage "Chrome" Postcard.
Vintage “Chrome” Postcard.

This weeks “Postcard of the Week” is a vintage “Chrome” postcard from circa mid 1960’s. The Kancamagus Highway or “Kanc” as it is affectionately know is 32 mile exceptionally beautiful road the connects Lincoln, NH to North Conway, NH. It offers spectacular views of the White Mountain National Forest. I’ve traveled this scenic byway many times and it always seems to thrill!

I had the privilege to witness an Amtrak training drill involving several law enforcement agencies. To watch these men work and train was amazing. Such professionalism. During this drill non-lethal rounds were used. Please note that I have removed several faces in order to protect some of the involved. © Joe Geronimo
