Some of you who are reading this might have seen this image before. However it is one of my favorites in our collection of recent family photographs. The date is Sunday, September 19th 2010. Our family traveled from New York to Cleveland the day prior in order to watch the Cleveland Browns host the Kansas City Chiefs in their season home opener. I am a J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets fan and I understand the suffering. However my wife is from Ohio and loves Da Browns.
The photograph you see here I absolutely love. I have a passion for family photographs and this one here resonates deep. Maybe it was the whole experience in Cleveland, the people we shared it with or just that being a family is intoxicating. I was able to captured this photograph of our two sons Max, left, and Michael gazing out our 16th (I think there is a theme here) story hotel room of the Crown Plaza in downtown Cleveland without them having a clue. This would be their first NFL experience and were mesmerized by the crowds of Browns fans and vendors lining the city streets below in celebration of the home team. Shortly they themselves would be rushed into the roaring crowds. Sadly the Browns lost to the Chiefs 16-14!
